The Laurens County Sheriff's Office Criminal Warrant Unit has the responsibility to serve warrants that are received by the Laurens County Sheriff's Office as well as for the transportation of those wanted who are arrested outside of Laurens County, including extraditions from outside the State of South Carolina.
Those serving criminal warrants have the responsibility to track and verify all active warrants. This Section is staffed by Uniformed Officers who locate these subjects and work closely with other agencies in an effort to get warrants served or to verify warrants that are still outstanding. The Criminal Warrant Unit serves warrants for agencies outside of the jurisdiction of Laurens County when the subject resides in the County of Laurens. |
