A Wattsville Community Clean Up is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th to begin at 9:00 a.m. If you can donate 2, 3, or even 4 hours of your time to help we would love to have you participate. We will be meeting in the parking lot of Lucas Avenue Baptist Church prior to starting the clean up to receive trash bags, vests, gloves or other accessories that may be available to assist us in our efforts. We will also be receiving maps with different sections of the community to concentrate in so we don't duplicate each other. If you or a group wish to participate and have a specific area you would like to clean up please let me know. Trash containers will also be available in Wattsville on June 8th to deposit trash that was collected.

The Wattsville Community is hosting a spectacular "Block Party" and YOU ARE INVITED!! Get to know your neighbors while enjoying great food, entertainment and fellowship. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. on June 8th behind Lucas Avenue Baptist Church and in the ballfield. There will be bounce houses, fire trucks, food, entertainment and much more for your enjoyment. Scheduled to appear is Jack Roper and his magic show, music by the Morning Star Trio and Loose Stones and an outdoor movie.
