The Laurens County Sheriff's Office Child Support Enforcement and Family Court Unit is tasked with the service of Rules to Show Cause for failure to pay child support and other court ordered rulings in addition to summons and complaints filed by the SC Department of Social Services in paternity and child support actions.
The unit is also responsible for the execution of Bench Warrants issued by the family court for failure to pay child support. This unit is also called upon to serve actions for Protection from Domestic Abuse Orders in high risk, potentially volatile situations. |
